Kate is Canadian. At 25, she married her British fiance and decided to emigrate to the UK. A month later, she was involved in a car accident which immediately put her plans on hold. 

A year later, she was recovering but still needed physiotherapy. Despite this, the two decided to finally make their move to the UK. After registering with a local GP, Kate tried to resume her physiotherapy but it was initially difficult without her Canadian medical images and records.
